A little about me and my approach...
I have seen amazing growth come from difficult experiences and believe that within each of us lies the ability to turn our challenges into something meaningful. The desire to help and support individuals in this process is what inspires me and my work. With an emphasis in treating anxiety, trauma, grief, phase of life challenges, relationships (pre-marital, marital, divorce), parenting, family dynamics, infertility processing, and systemic and existential concerns, I will bring my knowledge and experience, along with empathy, so I can support individuals in recognizing that the power to heal, create and import change lies within.
I am a graduate of Pepperdine University's Masters in Clinical Psychology program with an MFT emphasis, and I was fortunate to do my undergraduate studies at the University of California - Santa Barbara. I am also a member of the Psi Chi International Honors Society in Psychology, am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and have experience working with a range of therapeutic approaches, including Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Internal Family Systems and Parts Work, Positive Psychology, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness-Somatic models.
It is a privilege to be of help and entrusted with what people hold sacred. Whether I can offer support through therapeutic work, connecting individuals with needed resources, or advocating for what I am committed to on behalf of my clients, my community and the world, I am committed to working alongside others in pursuit of what matters to them and their lives.
Thank you for visiting and please let me know if I might be of service in your journey...

My Philosophy...
"Human behavior flows from three main sources: desire, emotion, and knowledge" (Plato)
Whether or not this is universal truth is for the individual to decide, but it nonetheless speaks to a greater consideration for us all: that human behavior is complex and shaped by many factors and experiences. How we ultimately process such information and make sense of it and the world around us can be confusing, if not overwhelming, so looking to resources and sources of support in making sense of it all is not only brave, but should be celebrated.
Therapy does not provide ready-made answers nor is it a quick-fix to our concerns; rather, it is a journey through which one can bring greater awareness to their past and present, so they might establish a fresh or more hopeful outlook for the future. How the journey unfolds for each of us will undoubtedly look different; however, and despite any differences, there is a universal truth that remains and connects us: growth and change are possible and within reach.
